After 34 enjoyable years working in a large blue chip company (straight from School at 16) I left in 2007 to become an independent employee. I wanted to use all the skills and experience I had learned over the years. I set up Ocius Consulting Limited and have never looked back since.

I see myself as an energetic, customer focused, hands-on HR specialist with experience in a wide range of disciplines including:

  • Business and Process Analysis
  • HR Operations
  • HR metrics
  • HR Outsourcing
  • Offshoring and Shared Services
  • Exposure to all HR processes including Reward and Recruitment.

This is supplemented with excellent business awareness, change and project management skills. In recent years I have also been asked to use my broad skills to successfully help transform and change the procurement process and procedures of a well-known global organisation.

I like to get involved in change projects from the start to completion, liaising with people at all levels from Senior Board Director level sponsors to shop floor staff. As such I have a sound appreciation for best practice and strategy for transforming services as well as attention to the operational details which can often derail implementation of any change projects.
